5K Run and I Mile Fun Run/Walk
Race Information and Rules
  • 1 mile fun run/walk participants will begin at 8:45am.
  • 5K runners will follow the last run wave of the duathlon at approximately 9:10am
  • Use 2016 Race Day Timeline as a guide only 2016 Guide. 2017 to be posted.
  • USA Track & Field sanctioned event.
  • Run and Walk competitors do not need an event license to participant
  • Event will be held rain or shine

  • Packet pickup / Registration information:
    Packet pick-up and Registration will be from 4pm-7pm on Friday at Fleet Feet of Fayetteville. Fleet Feet is located just off Hwy 71B/College Ave, 1020 Harold St., Fayetteville, AR 72701 479.571.8786. Packets may be picked up on race day from 7:00-8:30am at the race site. THERE IS NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.
    Race Day Packet Pickup only:
    Pre-registered duathletes and runners may pickup packets on race day from 7:00 am to 8:30am at the race site - Fayetteville Executive Airport, Drake Field, 4500 S School Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701 is located only 5 miles from downtown Fayetteville on Hwy 71. The airport terminal is where packet / timing chip pickup is located. Event parking is located next to the Transition area. See Course Maps for more detail.

    Refund / Transfer / Event Cancellation Policies:
  • No refunds will be given, but...
  • Participants who are unable to race will be allowed to rollover their entry to the following year or apply to another All Sports Productions's owned event in the current year
  • Participants must contact the Race Director before the race to be eligible for a rollover
  • All Sports Productions in coordination with both local emergency personnel and race officials will make decisions based on safety first
  • Courses and/or race segments may be altered as agreed to between All Sports Productions and officials.
  • If the event must be cancelled, then a participants' registration will be transferred to the rescheduled event only. The rescheduled date may not be until the following year's regularly scheduled date. The transfer is only good for the rescheduled event regardless if the athlete is able to attend.
  • Awards and categories -
    Awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each male and female age category. The top-three overall male and female, plus the first place Masters and Grand Masters male and female finishers will receive customized awards by L&L Metal Fabrication.
    5K:
  • Overall (Male & Female): top three
  • Juniors (Male & Female): 6-9, 10-14, 15-19
  • Adults (Male & Female): 5-year age groups
  • Masters 40-49 (Male and Female): First-place only
  • Grand Masters 50+ (Male and Female): First-place only
  • 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk:
  • All finishers will receive custom Iron Pig finisher ribbons
  • Door Prizes, Pre & Post Race Goodies
  • Adventure Subaru / Iron Pig Festival event logo item
  • Food will be served to all runners immediately following the race. Friends and family may eat for a nominal fee.
  • Door prizes will include gift certificates and products
  • Racers, friends and family members will receive a discount coupon to tour the Ozark and Military Air Museums located next to the Drake airport terminal.
